Role Summary:

The Brand Marketing Specialist will play a key role in analyzing data and understanding the competitive landscape for our product categories. They will utilize data to uncover brand insights and make product line recommendations. This individual will support the development and execution of brand strategies and support project execution through our stage gate process. They will assist in the creation of both customer and consumer facing selling materials such as sell sheets and POS. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Competencies:

Reporting and Analysis

Understand and monitor competitive landscape on a quarterly basis.

Manage reporting to uncover brand insights and make recommendations.

Monitor new item performance to optimize product launches.

Take lead role in compiling a quarterly business review to evaluate all EAS brands.

Trend analysis – monitor food trends (macro, restaurants, category) to identify growing segments and utilize them to help develop future brand innovation.

Brand Management

Support project execution through stage gate for branded products

Create and manage consumer and customer facing selling materials.

Assist in managing product mix and innovation plans.

Budget tracking, monitoring, and reporting.

Leadership and Teamwork

Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to define a clear strategy.

Proactively work with your cross-functional team to encourage growth and development.

Provide regular and continual feedback and support.

Continuous Improvement

Drive Customer and Employee Success by seeking opportunities for improvement.

Champion Change throughout the organization

Use the Spirit of EA Sween to guide decisions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field required.

1-2 years’ experience in Traditional Marketing or Brand Management required.

Commitment to collaboration and teamwork to tackle new opportunities.

Advanced level computer aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills, including general business process and management.

Demonstrated ability to be creative and think out-of-the-box to develop results-oriented, strategic plans.

Proven professional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualification:

                CPG/Food industry experience a plus.

Physical Demands Work Environment:

Generally, an office/desk position using a computer and telephone.

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to work occasional extra hours.

Must be able to work on/direct multiple projects at one time without direct supervision and be able to handle deadlines, confidential information and interruptions in the work process.

Must be able to multi-task, handle deadlines and confidential information.

Must be able to work well with various levels of employees, cross-functional team members and diverse cultures.
